ERMINGTON VILLAGE FUND

The Village Fund was born 20 yrs ago when a group of pub regulars decided to raise funds so that a Christmas tree could be provided outside the pub in the village square. The following year an organising committee was formed so that additional funds could be raised to provide Christmas lights on the houses around the Square.

The Village Fund Association has continued to prosper and now organises the Easter egg hunt, Summer Fair and Firework night display together with euchre tournaments, and quizzes throughout the year.

The money raised over the years has allowed us to provide lights for most of the village, hanging baskets and planters, a number of gazebos, tables and chairs, and a barbecue, all of which can be hired out at a reasonable cost.

Monies raised at events, have been donated to local projects, the total coming to over £48k, with an additional £3,500 going to various charities.

Hard working people give time and effort to make the Village Fund what it is, and we always welcome people with new ideas; please contact our secretary for information about meetings. (see Calendar)

The Ermington Village Fund has Gazebos (3m x 3m) and Folding Tables (2m x 1m) for hire to Parish Members. Ideal for parties!

Gazebos – £15 each per 24 hour period.
Tables – £ 5 each per 24 hour period
Chairs – £10 (max 35)
BBQ – £25 (£50 returnable deposit) Tea urn – £ 5
