ERMINGTON SUSTAINABLE SATURDAYS
Founded in 2011, ESS is a community-based market where anyone can come along, meet new people and chat over a coffee and cake and buy or sell produce. Ermington village has, like many, lost its shop and Post Office and the purpose of Ermington Sustainable Saturdays (ESS) is to provide and sustain a regular social opportunity where people can exchange news, goods – vegetables, jam, crafts etc., chat over coffee and discuss and advertise local events; to reinforce the great community spirit Ermington deservedly holds.
